Liel Abada: ISR intl. leaves Celtic, joins MLS team Charlotte FC in £10m deal

Cheap Liel Abada soccer jersey has written an emotional farewell after he sealed a £10 million switch from Celtic to MLS team Charlotte FC.

The Israeli international ended his two-and-a-half-year stay in Glasgow on Instagram following the announcement of his transfer by the MLS club – run by former Aston Villa boss Dean Smith.

Abada had been left out of Celtic’s recent selection for personal reasons due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

The 22-year-old player was under pressure in his homeland because of support for Palestine among the club’s fans.

Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers admitted last month that the 22-year-old might leave the club to make a fresh start.

Het Cheap Replica MLS soccer jersey transfer window is still open ahead of the new season that begins this weekend.

On social media Thursday night, Abada admitted he had no intention of leaving Celtic and thanked his family, the club and their fans for their support during “very difficult times.”

He said, “Where should I start? Leaving Celtic was not my plan, but life’s unpredictable twists and turns remind us that we are not always in control of everything. The past six months have been personally challenging, but the overwhelming support of the Gaffer, coaches and board has been my rock. Their unwavering confidence during these times I will not forget, but cherish forever.

“When I think back on my journey here, I get a smile on my face. The trophies won, the goals celebrated, the electric atmosphere and the moments of pure bliss will forever be etched in my memory.”

He continued, “And last but not least thank you to all the Celtic fans. Recent times have been very difficult for me and my family, but I want to thank all the Celtic fans who have supported, sustained and respected me as a Celtic player and I hope I have given you a few moments to remember me by.”

In his speech last month after Abada chose to leave, Rodgers showed his understanding as he opened the door for the player.

“I’ve had a lot of conversations with Liel and I really sympathize with the problem he has. It’s more than soccer. It’s on a human level, so I have to respect that.

“There are a lot of situations I’ve had to deal with as a manager over time, and a lot of it you don’t get on trainer courses. You have to understand and put yourself in his shoes. When he’s ready, if he’s ever ready, he’ll be able to give us everything.”

Abada was the second player to leave Celtic Park on Thursday. Left back Alexandro Bernabei was loaned to the Cheap Brazilian soccer shirt International.

The Porto Allegre club confirmed the deal for the 23-year-old Argentine, who has made only 16 appearances at kickoff since his arrival at Celtic Park in the summer of 2022.

He played four of those games under Brendan Rodgers, all since the winter break when Greg Taylor was missing with a calf injury.
